A passionate educator and coach, Ellie curates and shares powerful tools that help educators build empowering, collaborative, and inclusive learning environments.
She is known for creating workshop spaces that feel both energizing and safe—spaces where diverse groups can come together to learn, reflect, and grow. Her work spans peace and sustainability education, experiential and project based learning, and systems-level leadership development. Ellie co-developed the flagship leadership programme at UWCSEA in Singapore, and is proud of her work helping to develop experiential Peacebuilding experiences for youth, rooted in reconciliation and community-building in Myanmar and Kenya.
Deeply committed to social justice and education for displaced and refugee youth, Ellie facilitated a global hackathon to co-design curriculum with a diverse group of educators.
She also served as the Deputy Chief Examiner for the IB’s Environmental Systems and Societies course for over 20 years, reflecting her academic grounding in geography and environmental education. Across all her roles, Ellie brings people together—across borders, cultures, and perspectives—with the goal of building sustainable, compassionate, and collaborative futures through education.
